Kanako is always very encouraging, patient and explains the grammar really clearly. Furthermore, her memos serve as a useful protocol of each lesson and help me review the content on my own. Many teachers do not provide memos so this is a real advantage of Kanako’s lessons. Kanako is meticulous and dedicated in her approach - I would strongly encourage you to take lessons with her! 😊

After finishing Genki 1 together, I have to say that Kanako-san is a great teacher who helped me improve a lot. She has helped me become much less shy when speaking and to learn more effectively overall. I highly recommend taking her lessons!

Kanako Sensei is one of the best teachers that I have worked with on Italki or in a classroom. She has very interactive lessons, and seems to understand exactly how to explain why I am confused and how to approach the language in a slightly different way. She is extremely knowledgable, and is always prepared. I work hard in the lesson, and also have fun. Slowly, Japanese is starting to make sense. Thank you Sensei.

Has always been very patient and lets you figure things out for yourself, giving you a push in the right direction if needed. Homework is always doable and she is quick to mark it!
