Just had my lesson with Amy and it helped a lot! I'm Vietnamese and she speaks Vietnamese as well so I wanted to see how the first lesson would go. There are lots of similarities between Vietnamese and Mandarin and she was able to point them out for me, which helps. Overall, Amy is very positive, professional but also fun to talk to and this helps the lesson go by quickly. Even if you don't speak Vietnamese, I'm sure her friendly and helpful attitude will help you learn Mandarin as well. Try once and see! :)
