Hi there, this is Basma from Zhejiang, China and I spent my past 24 years living and studying there until I came to the Netherlands for my master studies back in 2019. Now I'm working at the United Nations and I quite enjoy communicating and working with colleagues from different cultural backgrounds. I have learned 4 languages, all of which belong to different language families, so I understand how difficult it is to learn a new language from the scratch, while at the same time how to learn it in an interesting, relaxing and efficient way. I have been taking Chinese lessons with Basma for several months now, and I am extremely impressed with her teaching abilities. She is a patient and thorough instructor, and she has a great talent for explaining complex concepts in a way that is easy for me to understand. One of the things I appreciate most about Basma is her willingness to go above and beyond to help me improve my Chinese. She is always available for extra help and is always willing to take the time to answer my questions.
