Llevo 6 meses estudiando español con Adrián y para mí es el mejor profe de español que he tenido en mis varios intentos de aprenderlo bien. El mes pasado estuve en España donde incorporé todo lo aprendido en conversaciones reales, ya fuera con familiares o con gente desconocida. Noté que podía expresarme mejor y entender más, incluso bromas sencillas. Además, mucha gente me hizo cumplidos sobre cómo me defendía y elogió mi esfuerzo por aprender mi lengua de herencia. Adrián no solo me ha ayudado a mejorar en mis competencias y a tener más confianza, sino que también me ha estimulado indirectamente a pensar en español sin depender del inglés y del holandés todo el tiempo. Gracias a sus clases, he podido ponerme en situaciones que antes nunca me había atrevido a afrontar por la inseguridad. En definitiva, estoy satisfecho con mi progreso y sobre todo me divierto mucho con Adrián. ¡Te lo agradezco jefe!

I’m a Spanish heritage student who was looking for a tutor to primarily practice my speaking skills and expand my vocabulary, as going to Instituto Cervantes alone felt insufficient if I truly wanted to become highly proficient in my father’s language. After weeks of searching, I thought Adrián would be the perfect fit for me and he absolutely was. I’ve had several people help me, but none match his dedication and thoughtfulness. He’s kind, supportive and genuinely passionate about teaching Spanish. His classes provide a safe space where I feel at ease and get the feedback I need. People often overestimate my abilities as a heritage speaker while not understanding my motivation or goals; Adrián does. He pushes me to improve step by step and I’ve already noticed progress.
