Melpomene is polite, reliable, academic, and humorous. She speaks English well and is comfortable with a wide variety of subjects. She gives helpful and specific feedback, especially when it comes to syntax. Melpomeme teaches me something new and interesting about Chinese (and even Russian) society every time we have class. I intend to go through HSK 4 material with her and I have no doubt that her classes will improve my HSKK scores as well.

Maria knows what she's talking about! i got a crash course in pinyin and pronunciation as well as the grammar structure of the language and a history lesson about the development of Chinese characters. i already feel more ready to jump right into chinese!
