Jasmine is a wonderful teacher! I had previously tried to learn mandarin on DuoLingo / other self-serve apps but was struggling to make progress. I am now able to make small conversation and understand much more than previously. Jasmine has a good combination of using structured resources (like following the HSK curriculum) and encouraging students to chat a bit at the beginning of class etc. She recommends strategies for studying outside of class if you have extra time. The consistency of the class has also been a blessing! Jasmine is extremely reliable and I have been able to keep a similar class time for months and slowly chip away at my learning goals!

I´ve had about 20 lessons with Jasmine so far, and she is an amazing teacher. She is flexible concerning topics, working with different materials/books or just practicing speaking, and helped me plan my goals, and how to achieve them. She adjusts her speaking your level, while still using a lot of new words for you to learn. When I first started learning, I didn´t know anything, and now we can have simple conversations completely in chinese! She is passionate about teaching, which helps you to improve quickly. I definitely recommend her as a teacher!
