Cleide Brandao

Cleide is one of the best language teachers I have ever had! She is so much fun to talk to and always keeps the conversation moving. She is an excellent teacher and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to learn the beautiful language of Portuguese!

I had a wonderful class with Cleide! She arrived with prepared materials, but when she realized that my portuguese was a little more advanced, she changed to do an activity that would help me more. She's also very nice, she gives tips to speak more naturally, and she has good conversation. Tive uma aula maravilhosa com a Cleide. Ela chegou na aula com o material preparado mas quando ela percebeu que eu tive um nível de portugues um pouca mais avançada, ela mudou para fazer outra atividade que me ajudaria mais. Também, ela é muita simpática, dá dicas para falar mais naturalmente, e tem boa conversaçao.

Such a great conversation with Cleide about reading, how our lifestyle affects on the kind of language we use, procrastination and finding the right tutor you click with (Cleide is definitely such one for me!). It felt so warm to converse again after a while<3 The previous class was also great: we talked about parasosial relationship and life before internet. It was so interesting to learn when it firstly appeared it Brazil and what sites were commonly used over there back then!:D It feels so satisfying to keep practicing with Cleide and my speaking in Portuguese improved so much after just a bit more than 10 classes! I recommend classes with Cleide to everyone wanting to learn in a friendly and encouraging environment💚 Muito obrigade e nos vemos em breve!!!

it was one of my best lessons on Italki! I finally could have a fluent conversation in Portuguese after a bit more than 6 months of learning🥺 it felt so motivating! Cleide helps me a lot and I'm grateful to practice with her! in this class we talked about how I got to know my soulmate, friendship, immigration and what to be ready for when I leave for abroad, my writing stories and about confusing Spanish and Portuguese (which I still do sometimes). I can't wait to have further classes and gain more confidence in speaking with Cleide💚
