Shao Jichen

We have been studying Doctrine of the Mean, a short chapter from the Book of Rites, for about a few weeks now. It's a significant piece of text in that it's THE highest moral virtue of Confucianism. Conceptually, it's not the most difficult to understand, but the text is very dense, much harder than The Analects! Super grateful to have Jichen here to help me out.

Yet another great lesson.

First class with Shao was great. Very patient, a clear speaker, who quickly gauged my level before we jumped into the text book. He was calm while we worked to resolve some technical issues, so two thumbs up. Hopefully I will have many classes with him!

Every lesson I am surprised that I can have this sort of high quality education easily available online for such a competitive price. I REALLY need to communicate how absurd it is that in this day and age I can have a Classical Chinese tutor available one website away. Jichen is exactly what I'm looking for in a teacher: intelligent, erudite, capable of elucidating much meaning from Classical Chinese texts in an easy to understand form. I'm grateful for his services and will always be looking forward to the next lesson with him. Thank you, Jichen!
