I’ve been learning Italian for the last three years but haven’t had a formal course or lessons in a while. I was a bit nervous starting again but the lessons I’ve had with Michele this past month have been very helpful and a confidence boost despite my weaknesses. He is very patient, makes every lesson worthwhile, and makes me wish I had started lessons again earlier!

I am really enjoying my Latin lessons with Michele. It helps that he is a patient teacher and highly capable in Linguistics and Latin grammar. My lessons are largely conversational, so generally I don't need the teacher to give me specific materials or homework. Michele helps me to say what I want to say, so I tend to improve my grammar as we go along. Great teacher.

Not only that, but if you're someone like me that likes to use grammar exercises or to read on your own time, Michele can help find exercises and reading recommendations that fit your needs and level in Italian. Lastly, Michele is a great choice as your Italian teacher due to his own background as a language learner. He knows it isn't easy learning a new language, and if you've already studied a language other than Italian, there's a chance he might have some familiarity with it!

I've been learning Italian with Michele and I can honestly say that he is a highly competent teacher with an impressive knowledge of languages. As a beginner myself, I especially appreciate his patience, his calm demeanor and the detailed and thorough feedback he provides to my speaking, basically spelling out and writing down the corrections for me to review later. This is a big one for speaking practice! I feel free to make mistakes without feeling self-conscious and the feedback is constructive and motivating. Another thing I highly appreciate is his command of French and German, which makes asking questions easier and helps me make useful vocabulary connections to the languages I already know. On top of that, Michele is well organized and our lessons provide useful insights into Italian cultural nuances from the perspective of a native I highly recommend Michele to any serious language learner and look forward to my future lessons, Grazie mille!

I am able to learn most Italian grammar by meself, so the goals of my lessons are speaking and listening, and Michele is a great teacher for this purpose. He knows how to help me say what I want to without being intrusive, and he adjusts his speaking to my level. I highly recommend this teacher.
