Jessie Expert TOPIK

What would I do with out Jessie 쌤?! I have been working with Jessie to prepare for TOPIK 2 and so far have had such an wonderful experience. Jessie has a wealth of knowledge about Korean language, grammar, TOPIK test taking know-hows, as well as Korean culture that is truly impressive. What's even more impressive is her ability to teach complex topics in a way that is easily understandable. On top of that, Jessie also has an incredibly lovely and friendly personality that makes every class enjoyable. Throughout the time that I have spent studying with Jessie, she has displayed an unwavering commitment to my success and has cheered me along at every step along the way. With Jessie, I feel that I am set up for success and will be able to achieve all of my language goals.

Jessie is always spot on in preparing for classes which makes it incredibly helpful and fun at the same time. For this lesson, I told Jessie that I wanted to run through news articles because I felt my Reading level had dropped recently and she prepared not one but three different short news articles which we ran through in class - not only the meaning of the words but also actively worked through the texts to summarise/ answer questions/ share my thoughts, ensuring that I really understood what we were learning. These classes are extremely helpful not in my general Korean learning but also for preparing for TOPIK/ work and hence would recommend to anyone looking to up their Korean level!

The lesson was fully focused on reviewing the TOPIK vocabulary of the past lessons, trying to maintain them as fresh as possible. I really like the focus on these words since they're complex and I can't really use them day by day in conversations, it's a great help!

제시선생님께서 정말 훌륭하시고 설명도 너무 잘하시는 것 같습니다. 수업시간에 모든 걸 다 자세히 설명해주시면서 좋은 예시도 많이 주시고 학생의 수준에 맞춰서 수업을 해주셔서 너무 좋습니다. 제가 조금 더 열심히 하면 더 잘 할 수 있을 것 같다고 하시면서 저를 응원해주시고 꼭 저한테 필요하고 혼자서 공부해도 모르는 부분들을 재미있게 알려주시니까 이번에 선생님덕분에 살면서 토픽을 제일 잘 볼 수 있을 것 같습니다! 정말 감사드립니다!

저는 현재 Jessie 선생님과 함께 3개월 동안 공부하며 TOPIK II 고득점을 목표로 하고 있습니다. 그동안 정말 많은 것을 배웠고, 특히 한국어 에세이 쓰기에 있어서 훨씬 더 자신감이 생겼습니다. Jessie 선생님은 수업을 매우 체계적으로 진행하시고 세부적으로 잘 설명해 주십니다. 선생님의 TOPIK 수업은 매우 도움이 되며, 시험을 준비하는 모든 분들께 자신 있게 추천드립니다.

This lesson was focused on talking about travels and plans since I'll be going on a vacation soon and so we had some practice on words and grammar related to this topic. Having the possibility to talk about something without a fixed lesson and just go on explaining things while using as much grammar as possible feels great
