I've done more than 40 lessons with Caoimhín now and he has helped progress my Irish so quickly. I was able to even go to the Gaeltacht and speak order at cafes and restaurants as Gaeilge while also engaging in light conversation. I recommend him if you want to really start speaking Irish.

Sorcha is a friendly , knowledgeable and encouraging teacher. As an adult learner , one of my biggest issues is with actually speaking the Irish that I do have . Sorcha politely prompts me to go back to Gaeilge when I slip back into using English. When I make mistakes , Sorcha will gently inform me of the correct structure that I should have used , without making me feel like a fool. It’s a skill that not all teachers have and along with simple , constructive lesson plans and some homework , makes Sorcha a great choice no matter what level your Irish is at. I’d recommend Sorcha as a teacher and I’m sure she’ll help you with your language journey , on top of that you’ll have met a genuinely nice person , it’s a win win really !

Daniel is such a natural teacher and so well prepared I want to only leave him terrible reviews so that nobody else ever catches on to how good he is! But honesty compels me to give him the highest possible ratings: he is prepared with some of the best produced materials I have ever seen, he is knowledgeable and helpful and encouraging and he's patient, which is helpful for when I've forgotten a word for the 400th time. I can't more highly recommend Daniel for work on Irish, especially if you're a beginner like me.

I really appreciate how you respond to my needs, how quickly you adapt the lesson, like yesterday when you realized that I hadn't yet learned how to ask questions using irregular verbs. You installed it in a flash before we got on with the topic we worked on. And I also like to talk to you about what's happening around us right now. I really love it that you ask me at the beginning of each class: "Aon scéal?" And then I'm demanded to tell something. And I think that's great, because I'm forced to put what I've experienced into words and try to say it as simply as possible, because my Irish is still at a relatively low level. Éanna is fun to talk with, the classes are fun too because of how chill & professional he is. A bonus for him is when I'm walking, on a bus/luas/train he'll continue to go along with the class, even if it's likely there could be some small distractions e.g traffic & loud crowds. I've used italki for a couple of years already to study a few languages. This was my first lesson with Ryan. What really stood out for me was how well prepared and organised he is. Friendly, encouraging, and has a good sense of humour. Great use of technology to enhance the learning experience. Excellent and enjoyable first lesson.

Mollie was brilliantly well prepared with materials and was engaging, friendly and supportive right the way through. This session has definitely left me motivated to finally pursue my life-long dream of learning Irish to a reasonable level.

Absolutely wonderful first lesson with Eimear! She was extremely organized with her teaching plan and naturally knowledgeable about the Irish language. Her friendly nature immediately put away any nervousness I might have been feeling about taking on a new challenge. She's more than capable of working with someone who has no previous knowledge of Irish and certainly is just as capable of helping to guide someone who wants to brush up on the language if they haven't practiced it in some time. I'll be continuing my lessons with Eimear and would definitely recommend others book lessons with her as well!
