りょうこ先生はとてもやさしくて、いつもていねいに教えてくれる先生です。 とても忍耐強く、文法や新しい表現もわかりやすく説明してくれるので、安心して勉強できます。 レッスンでは、今使っている教科書のPowerPointを使いながら勉強しています。教科書の文法を勉強するだけではなく、りょうこ先生がたくさん質問してくれるので、習った文法を使いながら自然に会話の練習もできます。私が話すときも、いつもやさしくサポートしてくれるので、間違いを心配しすぎずに話すことができます。 宿題も毎回ていねいに直してくれて、レッスンの後には復習のための教材も準備してくれます。授業で勉強したことをもう一度確認できるので、とても助かっています。 りょうこ先生と勉強を始めてから、自分の日本語が少しずつ上達していると感じます。特に、話すことに前より自信がついてきました。また、先生のおかげで、日本語をもっと勉強したいという気持ちも強くなりました。 毎回のレッスンが楽しくて、勉強を続けるモチベーションにもなっています。文法も会話もバランスよく勉強したい人に、本当におすすめの先生です！

I really had fun with Sensei’s listening skill challenge! It made me more aware of the areas where I still need to improve. I also really enjoy how Sensei discusses the latest news and current events, then teaches me how to express my thoughts naturally in Japanese. Chieko Sensei is fantastic at teaching students who are preparing for the JLPT. She has great understanding of the exam structure and does an excellent job of analysing and breaking down the different question types. She also provides useful tips and strategies to help tackle each type of question more effectively. She goes further by identifying and explaining the different types of comprehension and listening questions that may appear in the exam. Her expertise and extensive knowledge of the JLPT have given me the confidence when approaching the questions. Aside from exam prep, she also takes time at the beginning of each lesson to catch up with me, which is really helpful in improving my conversational skills. Whenever we go through a passage, she asks me questions and encourages me to explain my thoughts and understanding. This not only helps to strengthen my comprehension but also gives me more opportunities to practise speaking.

Natsumi is a truly exceptional teacher. I've taken around 20 lessons with her at this point, and they have been worth every penny. There's the fact that you learn tons of new vocabulary and grammar. But more importantly, Natsumi has the right attitude. She is supportive and easy to talk to — but at the same time, willing and able to push you to try out expressions, structures, and topics you otherwise wouldn't do on your own. TLDR: if you're reading this, you're wasting time. Book a lesson with Natsumi now, and never look back.

Yoko sensei is a wonderful teacher whom I would recommend to anyone of any level. She is cheerful, very well-organized, and extremely encouraging. Yoko sensei is clearly very experienced, and uses cards/props to prompt you and convey meaning without interrupting the flow of conversation when I am trying to speak. She speaks fluent English so can help me when I get stuck, but does not let the conversation lapse into English, so I am pushed to keep trying in Japanese. Yoko sensei sends summaries of our key vocabulary from the lesson in a clear and helpful format after we have finished. A fantastic teacher who will help you with whatever your goals are in your Japanese learning journey.

Lessons with Mika sensei encourage me to continue learning japanese. We talk about various topics such as politics, japanese culture, superstitions and health habits, job hunting and mental health - and Mika sensei always provides great thoughtful answers and asks further questions:)

Another great lesson with Ruri-san! She always has a plan worked out, gives plenty of constructive speaking opportunity and gives homework to consolidate the grammar. She's always friendly, encouraging and supportive, and incredibly patient when my words fail me. 10/10 lesson.

I am truly enjoying learning Japanese with Kozo せんせい. After learning the hiraganas and katakanas, we have now moved to basic vocabulary and very simple sentence building. Every lesson is fun and rich in content, I feel listened to and able to ask questions without judgment. Starting to learn Japanese was one my resolutions for 2026 and I am so happy I did. ありがとうございます
