These will come in handy should your goal in taking the lessons be school or test preparation or if you are a linguistically minded person. I possess the experience and the materials necessary to help you prepare for DELF, DALF and TCF exams. For the Japanese classes I use Minnanonihongo I&II (みんなの日本語I&II) and Genki I&II (げんきI&II).

As a part-time tutor, during 10 years of teaching English and Lithuanian to foreign students, I've acquired a bunch of strategies and methods how to help people, starting with kids, very beginners and finishing with business people, willing to enrich their vocabulary and be able to maintain rather deep or sophisticated discussions.

I've been teaching students of very different ages. I try to adapt my classes to the level they need in order to make them feel confident. I like to focus on the four skills in every class, but Speaking is always present even when teaching the other skills. I think it is very important to teach in a dynamic way, therefore, I use different materials and sources in order to make the class more appealing and interactive. Although I'm an English teacher, I can also help with my native language which is Lithuanian or Spanish. I've got C2 DELE Spanish certificate and I've been teaching foreign students Spanish too. Helping you make more mistakes and build your confidence with conversational Lithuanian As a teacher, I aim to make our sessions fun and interesting. In our lessons, we work from books such as "Colloquial Lithuanian", "Nė dienos be lietuvių kalbos" and other resources online. My main goal is for you to feel safe in making more mistakes which then leads to confidence expressing yourself in Lithuanian. From years of working in Behaviour Change with people, I know that adding new routines is not easy. Busy life and competing commitments make it difficult to stick to a routine. While I am encouraging and supportive, my best advice for a beginner is to lower your expectations when learning. Less is more at the very beginning while you are building a routine.

Relaxed and stress-free, while always having your goals in mind. You can expect to start speaking and expressing yourself more, no matter if you start from zero or from solid language comprehension abilities. After all, communication is the best way to practice grammatical structures, vocabulary, listening, and comprehension all at the same time! I've never thought of myself as a teacher, however I've been teaching English for more than 5 years and I love it! It's a real story of "from passion to profit" :D I've started as a mentor to foreign students at my university and turned out to be a full-time English instructor at world renown YMCA college in Japan. However, it's still my passion, so I always try to keep my lessons light and enjoyable, unless my students are preparing for a test or have to quickly improve their English for work.
