Norwegian Intensive Courses for levels A1, A2 and B1, B2 | Norwegian Lessons I teach intensive courses in Norwegian. There is a mini intensive, as well as a full intensive course. I do not have a single approach to teaching because all of my students are different, but whether you are a beginner or an advanced student, I will adapt my teaching style to your needs. For the intensive courses I take a traditional approach to teaching, I use a textbook in combination with online exercises, but I am flexible in my teaching methods and willing to work with your learning style.

Standard Oslo Dialect (Bokmål) Learn Through Speaking! All students are different, though most want a combination of theory and practice! It is the most common preference of students to learn 50% theory (following text- and workbooks), and 50% speaking practice. I will ask you about what you prefer, and we can try different things. - Have prepared many students to pass Norwegian exams, successfully.

I mainly apply the communicative, audio-lingual, and direct methods which make lessons more interactive. All lessons are tailored to the learning preferences of a particular student to increase motivation and make the lesson more engaging. I also prepare for high level language exams (C1 Goethe Zertifikat for German and French DALF)

Interesting and effective teaching techniques (18+ only) I`m a patient, motivative, encouraging and understanding teacher. My goal as a teacher is to help you through the language learning process, and I also want to help you enjoy learning a lanuage and hopefully become a source of inspiration. I`ve learned a lot as a student over the years from both my teachers and language exchange partners.

My main goal is to help you learn a language effectively and at your own pace, while also enjoying the entirety of the process. Having fun is part of learning too :) Still, an important part of mastering any language, is the amount of effort you put in. Not just in terms of the lessons themselves, but the work you do outside them. That could be reading, listening to podcasts or watching TV shows. Just taking lessons will make the road to mastering either Norwegian or English arduous.

When a class is scheduled, it is part of my weekly plan and I get ready for it. I conduct a detailed journal of what I have been doing with my student, I write down every session, thus it is easy for me to check what we did on our past sessions. I used to teach more conventionally, meaning with my students being in the same room as me. In 2021 I started using Skype for my classes and things work out very well. I am always punctual as I respect the time my students take for our class, likewise I do appreciate if my students do the same.
