Conversational lessons with a teacher with volunteering experience! During my time as a volunteer English teacher last year, I learned that in order to help someone with their English learning journey I must put myself in their shoes. But I also entered the volunteering role already knowing, as a language learner myself, how challenging learning a new language can be. And so I strive to create a friendly atmosphere within the lesson so that there is less tension between both the learner and me while the learner continues learning the English language - which I know can be a daunting task on its own.
