Grüezi! A German & Swiss German teacher who likes a friendly and fun learning atmosphere :) I have been working as a tutor on italki for 3 years and during this time I have gained a lot of experience. I can also look back on over five years of online acrobatic coaching with students from all over the world and taking care of Japanese Aikido teachers during their stay in Switzerland and help them as a translator. This provided me many good insights and clues on how to use and teach foreign languages to other persons. I recently set up my own Youtube channel, "Swiss German Storytime", with helpful posts on reading and listening comprehension. I also have a Patreon page where you can find many Swiss German and High German contributions and serve as a learning platform for you.

Ich begann mit dem Unterrichten von Hochdeutsch 2017 während eines Auslandssemesters. Als ich Italki entdeckte, spezialisierte ich mich auf Zürcherdeutsch und helfe seither Einwanderern bei ihrer Integration in der Schweiz. Das Level variiert dabei von Beginnern bis hinzu Fortgeschrittenen. Aus Mangel an guten Unterrichtsmaterialien habe ich im Verlauf der Jahre meinen eigenen Kurs mit einer Vielzahl verschiedener Übungstypen zusammengestellt. Ich biete auch weiterhin Unterricht in Hochdeutsch an und kann eventuell auch bei weiteren Schweizer Dialekten weiterhelfen.

Certified CELTA Teacher with a Master's Degree in Languages I have a Master's Degree in English Languages and Linguistics as well as a CELTA Certificate. I started teaching English in 2016 in Mexico where I worked with children. Since the beginning of 2018 I've been teaching English as well as German in Sydney, Cambridge and Switzerland to students from all over the world. I absolutely love my job and I always want to create the best and most exciting lessons for my students. Ich habe einen MA in English Languages and Linguistics sowie ein CELTA Diplom. As I teacher I am very patient and friendly and make you feel comfortable to speak. I am happy when you can achieve the progress and goals you set and when you start feeling more at ease to speak naturally and are able to express yourself in German or Swiss German.

I want to help you to improve your spoken Swiss German or German and of course also your listening. I know what it is like to learn a new language and the most important is that you can practice as much as you can. I finished the professional development programme DLL at the Goethe Institute in Germany, with the aim of expanding my skills and knowledge in the German teaching field.
