Phrasal verbs often have more than one meaning, so be patient. It takes time to learn them. One helpful method is to learn them in the context of sentences. Here is an example: Phrasal Verb: to work out (5 meanings) To exercise / do physical training → I go to the gym every evening to work out. To find the answer or solution to something → The teachers are trying to work out why so many students were absent. To calculate something (price, number, etc.) → Can you work out how much we spent on food this month? To happen or develop in a particular way → I wasn’t sure about the new job, but everything worked out well. To have a successful or positive result → Don’t worry too much – things will work out in the end.

I have seen a lot of people who asked their children should read as more as books they could, but they playign video games on theri phones on the side. I have aslo a few people who spent much time with their children reading books. As a consequence, it's not dount that the first group of chidren didn't become what their parents excpected. The second group parents were proud of their children who got really excellent. In fact, the same situation often happens in a office. If a manger is strict to the employees, but not himself, I believe that nobody would try their best to do everything well. So, as a parent, how to discipline your children, it' needs you to lead your children to do the right things. You are hardworking, your children won't be lazy. If you are optimistic to face challenges, your children won't easily give up anything in adversities.
