The water was very relieving. Practice your speaking speed and fluency with these questions and others. Record your voice and listen for which of my recordings you sound like. 1). What did you do last weekend? 2). What kind of books do you like to read? 3). What do you usually like to cook for yourself?

Here are some questions you can ask yourself to check whether you got the meaning: 1. What was the purpose of Diane’s visit to San Francisco, California? 2. Can visitors do all anything they like at the Golden Gate National Recreation Area or something certain? 3. Where did Diane and her friends go on the second day of her visit? 4. How did Diane and her friends arrive to Alcatraz Island? 5. What was Diane’s favorite part about her trip to San Francisco? Are you a student, or are you working? What do you study? What’s your major? Why did you choose this major? ( Choose is an irregular verb, so lets see if you can use the past tense of choose!) Did your family influence you in your choice? How did you make this choice? What do you like most about your studies? Does your study require the use of any technology? Do you study better in the morning or afternoons? Is there anything that you don’t enjoy about your studies? What’s the most interesting part of your major? What university do you go to? What do you like most about your university or school? Is there anything that you don’t like about it? Do you prefer to study alone or with classmates? Do you get along well with your classmates? Does your school/university have any extracurricular activities? Are you looking forward to working?

“ I actually just finished a wonderful engrossing book just last week, which I couldn’t put down for a moment, and read from cover to cover in just two days. The book was an autobiography on a very famous musician and member of one of the most famous rock bands in history, the Rolling stones…. It was one of my friends who is also interested in music recommended the book to me, as he knew I am a huge fan of the Rolling Stones. That evening I checked out reviews for the book online and everyone was giving it a 5 star rating, so it was off to the bookshop for me to pick up a copy as quickly as I could. The book basically tells the life story of a music legend from his time growing up as a young child in England in the 1950s to becoming a rock legend, and a founding member of one of the biggest rock bands of all time. It really gave an incredible insight into his life, from a very humble beginning to becoming a megastar. It certainly was not heavy reading, and the author’s sense of humour actually made it light reading. The reasons I really loved this book so much apart from being a lifetime fan of the central character, were firstly…. It gave me an amazing insight into the real life of a rockstar, which was actually very thought provoking…….I also found it very inspiring and uplifting….to discover how this young boy from a very normal background believed in his dreams, and stopped at nothing to achieve them….and of course the crazy journey of a rock star along the way…So….yes…..It really was one of those books that i just couldn’t put down, and would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone.

If you listen to how i talked about and described the movie, you should be able to notice that i did not go into much detail on what the movie was about. This can be a very difficult thing to do in any language, and can also lead to problems with cohesion which will of course lower your band score. This is an example of where you need to learn to talk around topics, and remember that part 2 is still about you.
