Begin your learning journey with Phonics for Kids.  Students will identify capital and small letters, learn the short and long sounds, learn simple math through number identification and addition, and begin to form simple sentences.  This is a preschool level course with some experience with letter and number identification.

Phonics for Kids: Beginners

Beginners who have mastered the alphabet, letter sounds, and numbers 1-20 can now begin to learn how to converse in English.  Students will learn how to introduce themselves, describe common people and things in their life, and describe basic math functions.  Phonics and grammar skills will be emphasized with encouragement to begin conversational skills in English.  This Level is for beginning readers.

Beginner Level 2 for Kids:  Introduction to Conversation

These lessons are for Elementary level English learners who are developing their grammar skills through basic conversation.  Students should be able to conjugate verbs in the simple present tense, have good math skills in simple multiplication and division, and be able to answer simple questions in English.  We will practice pronunciation, reading, writing, and grammar skills in this unit.

Elementary English  Level 3 for Kids

This course is for students who want to participate together in class.  All levels are welcome to enroll in a group class.  We will use similar materials to other courses offered but it will be held with more than one student at a time.  This is perfect for families wanting more than one child in class at a time.

Group Class

These lessons are a combination of conversation and curriculum in order to help strengthen reading, listening, and pronunciation.  These lessons are designed for older students who are comfortable with speaking but want to continue improving their skills.

40 Hour online certification to teach online

I completed 120 hours of certification for teaching English as a Second Language.  The course included an introduction to basic pedagogy, classroom management skills training, and an introduction to English grammar and vocabulary.  I was also taught skills in teaching reading, writing, speaking, and listening.  I practiced developing learning objectives and lesson planning.  I believe that this certification as well as my over 7,000 classes taught in 5 years should qualify me as a professional.

I have been an independent contractor since 2016 on a popular online platform.  I have taught over 7,000 classes over the years which will make my experience an important asset.

I have experience in teaching children on many topics including social and emotional health.  I have taught pre-college entrance exam preparation classes as well and have proctored administering pre-college entrance exams.  I helped to prepare students to achieve their academic goals beyond the high school level.
