During the trial lesson we'll discuss your interests about the language and what you are expecting to achieve. I'll show you my proposal in order to talk about your preferences so we can build the classes according to your needs.

Language is a phenomenon which is constructed and modified according to social, cultural, political, economic, historical structures, among others; therefore in these lessons we will address fundamental grammatical topics of language, understanding their uses, constructed from the realities of their speakers. The subjects to be studied can be agreed with the students or proposed by the teacher according to the level of each one. There will be reading material (mostly literature), listening material (documentaries, videos on various topics, music) and activities to practice grammar. To understand a language and being able to speak it, we have to know about how spanish speakers read reality. 
La lengua es un fenómeno que se construye y se modifica de acuerdo a estructuras sociales,  culturales, políticas, económicas, históricas, entre otras; es por esto que en estas lecciones abordaremos temas gramaticales fundamentales de la lengua, entendiendo sus usos construidos desde las realidades de sus hablantes. Los temas a estudiar pueden ser acordados con las y los estudiantes o propuestos por la profesora de acuerdo al nivel de cada quien. Habrá material de lectura (en su mayoría literatura), material de escucha (documentales, videos sobre diversos temas, música) y actividades para practicar gramática en general.

Knowing reality from language

The first contact with the language is a very important moment, because it is here that we begin to understand its structures and the reasons for its uses. It’s the most fun part of the process of learning a second language because here is when we create our own words, we practically invent a pseudo-language. During these lessons we will address the basic topics of the language, making use of them in everyday life. In addition, we will have pronunciation exercises with explanations of the positions your lips and tongue should adopt.

El primer contacto con la lengua es un momento muy importante, debido a que es aquí cuando comenzamos a entender sus estructuras y las razones de sus usos. Es la parte más divertida del proceso de aprendizaje de una segunda lengua debido a que es cuando creamos nuestras propias palabras, prácticamente, inventamos una pseudo-lengua. Durante estas lecciones abordaremos los temas básicos de la lengua, haciendo uso de ellos en la cotidianidad. Además, tendremos ejercicios de pronunciación con explicaciones de las posiciones que deben adoptar tus labios y tu lengua.

First Spanish touch

Conversation is a fundamental part of the process of learning a second language, it is here that we demand the use of all the structures, vocabulary, expressions and more that we already know about the language. The spoken act organizes the knowledge we have in our brain, because it demands a logic to make the listener to understand us. The topics of the conversational classes are free, these can range from topics of daily life, to talks about history, literature, society, music, animals, food, among others, the decision is yours.

La conversación es una parte fundamental del proceso de aprendizaje de una segunda lengua, es aquí cuando nos exigimos el uso de todas las estructuras, vocabulario, expresiones y más que ya conocemos del idioma. El acto hablado organiza el conocimiento que tenemos en nuestro cerebro, pues exige una lógica para lograr que quien escucha nos entienda. Los temas de las clases conversacionales son libres, estos pueden ir desde temas de la vida diaria, a charlas sobre historia, literatura, sociedad, música, animales, comida, entre otros, la decisión es tuya.

En estas clases vamos a abordar temas básicos del español para personas que quieren visitar países hispanos y tener una experiencia más real y cercana con los y las locales. Es decir, las clases tendrán un enfoque para el turismo, con expresiones y vocabulario básico y con práctica de situaciones reales en lugares como aeropuertos, restaurantes, tiendas, estaciones de bus, entre otros. 
In these classes, we will cover basic Spanish topics for people who want to visit Spanish-speaking countries and have a more authentic and closer experience with the locals. In other words, the classes will have a tourism focus, with expressions and basic vocabulary, and practice of real-life situations in places like airports, restaurants, shops, bus stations, among others.
