Trial lessons will help me to identify your Bahasa level, get to know why your learn Bahasa, and what your end goal in Bahasa learning. In this session, you could let me know what method you usually use in learning Bahasa. I will also give you an overview of my teaching style.

This class includes speaking and listening practice for elementary to advanced levels of Indonesian learners. I can provide you with certain topics, questions, or texts to be talked about in class. You can also bring up specific articles, topics, or videos to the class. General conversation about random topics will also be my teaching style to get you immersed in the real Indonesian conversation. If you have questions about grammar, I would definitely love to help you figure it out. However, I will not purposely provide a grammar lesson in this class.

Conversational Indonesian for Elementary to Advanced Levels

This class includes 20 structured lessons designed for absolute beginners in Indonesian. You will learn 20 different topics that will help you build useful vocabulary and expressions for engaging in simple conversations. By the end of the program, you are expected to be able to introduce yourself, mention numbers and prices, talk about days, times, and seasons, and more in Indonesian.

This class is perfect for those who want to learn Indonesian from scratch.

Indonesian for Absolute Beginners Level

For those of you who are passionate about writing and want to improve your Indonesian writing skills, this lesson is the perfect place for you. In this class, I will help you with punctuation, basic sentence structures, writing short stories, composing simple emails, and more. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to practice writing, and I will be there to proofread your work.

Typically, my students send me their writing, and I proofread it while providing detailed feedback in the form of notes—without the need for a virtual meeting on Zoom, iTalki Classroom, or Skype. However, if you prefer, you can also receive feedback through an online meeting. I'm open to both options!
