Trail lessons are a great way for you to see if you like my teaching style. They are also a great way for me to get to know you and your specific learning needs.

These are conversational classes where we focus on vocabulary, pronunciation and simple grammar. During these lessons we focus on conversational skills. I am happy to speak about many different topics. These lessons give students an opportunity to practice their skills or learn new vocabulary such as idioms and phrasal verbs.

General Conversation Lessons

I can help you prepare for FCE, CAE, IELTS and TOEFL exams. During these lessons we will mainly focus on writing and speaking, Though we can work on any area the students needs help.

Exam preparation FCE, CAE, IELTS and TOEFL

For children I offer specialized classes. I  make use of a variety of materials to keep young students involved, including, storybooks, flashcards, Power Points and games. We focus on all areas of English, including  reading and writing, listening and speaking as well comprehension and vocabulary. I design children's lesson to the child's level, specific skills and interested to ensure that the lessons are interesting and productive.

Childrens Lessons

In the lessons we focus on specific grammar rules. I will provide learning material to help students understand the concept and provide many opportunities for practice. We will focus on specific areas; such as articles, prepositions and verb tenses. Please send me a message ahead of time if  there is something specific you would like to work on during our lesson.

Regular Children's Lesson

I have a four year degree in Education, I specialized in Foundation Phase teaching.

I have experience teaching English online to students from all around the world.This experience has helped me become confident teaching on online platforms and communicate with people of different languages.

Teaching in a South African classroom has helped me acquire many of the skills needed to overcome language barriers to learning. My teaching experiences have also made me confident teaching young children.

My previous teaching experience on italki has made me familiar with the process of students booking lessons and confirming them. Teaching on italki has helped me become creating my own learning materials and teaching students on Skype. I feel confident and excited to teach on italki again.
