Let's have an introductory session to get an overall idea of your goals and expectations.  We'll follow this with simple conversation where I will get to listen to your grammar, pronunciation, and fluency so I can tailor our next lessons to your needs..

Practice your English in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere.  We will discuss topics that are of interest to you, while teaching you new words and phrases, or choose from a multitude of other topics.  I will ask you stimulating questions to keep you speaking and learning.

Conversational English

In this class you will read articles that have been specifically chosen in order to hear your pronunciation, grammar and fluency.  Also unfamiliar words will be discussed and pronounced properly.

Reading Class

Would you like to step out of your comfort zone?  Are you nervous or afraid to stand up in front of your class or colleagues?  How can you become more confident?  I can help you to overcome any fears you may have in order to become proficient in public speaking.

Public Speaking

Canada is a large country with a variety of exciting places to visit.  Learn about the culture, traditions, language and lifestyle.  Look at big city life as well as the rural communities and why both lifestyles have a certain appeal. Arranging for students to give talks, presentations, and demonstrations on selected topics that are anywhere from 2 to 7 minutes in length.  Afterward  commendation, analysis and  suggestions on what areas need improvement and why.  At times, students can be given an assignment to be completed at home in order to practice and improve  their skills.
