In the trial lesson, we’ll start with the basics of the Nepali language—such as common greetings, essential vocabulary, and pronunciation. Most importantly, we’ll focus on Nepali sentence structure, which is quite different from English.

For example, while English follows a Subject-Verb-Object (SVO) structure (e.g., I eat rice), Nepali usually follows a Subject-Object-Verb (SOV) structure (I rice eat). This can feel unusual at first, but I’ll guide you step-by-step to help you get comfortable with it.

We’ll break down simple sentences together so you can understand how Nepali works and start forming your own sentences by the end of the lesson. You'll also get tips and tricks to avoid common mistakes and build a strong foundation for further learning.

The basic level Nepali classes focuses on building a strong foundation in reading, writing, and speaking. If you don't want to learn the script, we can also get started with Romanized form where you don't have to worry about learning vowels and consonants.
You’ll start with the pronunciation, and useful everyday vocabulary. A key part of the course is understanding sentence structure, which differs from English—Nepali uses a Subject-Object-Verb (SOV) order. Conversational Nepali Basics for Beginners

The Intermediate level is designed for learners who have a basic understanding of the language and want to build on their skills to communicate more confidently in everyday situations. This level focuses on expanding vocabulary, improving sentence structure, and developing reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.

Giving opinions and making suggestions

Describing experiences and plans

Reading short stories and articles

Writing paragraphs, letters, and short essays

Engaging in conversations and role-plays

The class is offered in both Devanagari (देवनागरी) and Romanized (Roman) script, making it easier for learners to follow along based on their reading comfort.

This level is ideal for students who want to improve their fluency, accuracy, and confidence in using the language in more practical, real-world contexts.
