Cancellation 

You are free to cancel any lesson 24 hours before the lesson time, as per the italki cancellation policy. 

Rescheduling 

If we have entered the 24-hour period before your trial lesson, and you wish to reschedule due to an emergency, please get in touch with me before the lesson and I will try and accommodate you as best I can.

No-Show

If you do not attend the trial lesson without prior notice, I will not be able to offer a rescheduled lesson or a refund.

This lesson will be adapted to your needs. This class may include speaking, reading, listening and writing with close emphasis on grammar, syntax and pronunciation. 

✨Beginner: In this lesson we wiil start off with basic aspects of the language, from greetings to some interesting and useful topics. This will be supplemented with a grammar foundation. This lesson may include homework or preparation for the next lesson. 

✨Intermediate: In this lesson we will look at relevant and interesting topics, and work on grammar points. This lesson may include homework or preparation for the next lesson. 

✨Advanced: Let’s look at a variety of topics introducing idiomatic language, phrasal verbs and other useful expressions. This lesson may include homework or preparation for the next lesson.

📚 General English | Structured Lessons | Beginner to Advanced (57/45/27 min)

Since I studied law and also worked as a copywriter and digital marketer for 5 years, I have industry experience. I bring this real-world knowledge to my classroom, making my business lessons interesting and relevant.

I currently offer two business courses: intermediate (B1-B2) and upper intermediate to advanced (C1). I can also help you prepare for your job interview in English!

Intermediate Course (B1-B2): 
In the intermediate course I cover management styles, marketing strategies, how to write emails, acing your job interview, presentation tips, making phone calls, how to handle business meetings and a whole lot more. 

Advanced Course (C1): 
In this course we will look at interview tips, business communication, performance reviews, leadership, sales skills, negotiation, dealing with complaints and a lot of other interesting business-related topics.

💼 Business English & Interview Preparation| B1, B2 & C1 (57/45/27 min)

These lessons are mainly conversation based and focus on improving spoken English and building vocabulary. I will provide pronunciation and grammar support and feedback as needed. 

Important: If we do not use ZOOM, I cannot use videos or sound clips in the lesson as the italki classroom does not support it.  

Note:

✧ 30 or 45 minute lessons available for children and teenagers aged 12-18

I adapt my lessons depending on the age and level of the student. 
Lessons for younger children and beginners may include:

M's English is both a conversation school and an academic publishing house. I worked as an English instructor and as the editor for the publishing department. This position gave me the opportunity to combine my teaching and my editing skills. At M's I taught a variety of students - from kindergarteners to adults. I was aslo the leader of the school's university programme and spent 1 day a week teaching at TCUE. After working at M's I am confident about teaching students of any age.

Online English conversation and grammar lessons: beginners to advanced level
As I have already taught online English lessons for more than one year, I am very comfortable teaching English online. I learnt a lot during this period about how to offer engaging online lessons and about the administration surrounding successful online teaching.

I honed my writing skills during this time, which has made me a better communicator. This background in copywriting and marketing also helps me assist students with written assignments and business English.

I developed a Creative Writing Diploma course during my time at College SA. I wrote several textbooks and study guides for this course. I was also an in-house trainer. 
One of the textbooks I wrote was on English Grammar for Writers, which was an excellent refresher for me. Creating this text has been beneficial for me to this day when it comes to teaching grammar to my students.

Worked as a high school English teacher at Gyeongbuk Foreign Language High School in South Korea. This position involved curriculum development as well as teaching.

Worked as an online English teacher at Bibo International / DMM Eikaiwa.

Worked as an English instructor and as an Editor for educational material. In this position I taught students from all walks of life. I taught at a university as well as business English lessons. I also visited kindergartens in the morning.

I taught English online to students as a freelancer while continuing with freelance copywriting.

I have been an online English teacher on italki since May 2021. I have taught over 3,400 lessons to both one-one students as well as group classes.
