We’ll talk about real situations you’ve experienced,
especially moments when you understood Chinese
but didn’t know how to respond naturally.

There’s no textbook and no pressure.
This trial lesson is simply a chance to see
if this style of conversation practice works for you.

You already know some Chinese.
You know what you want to talk about.
But when you’re actually talking to a real person, you hesitate.
You’re not sure if you understood correctly.
You’re not sure how to respond.
So you stay quiet — or keep your answers very short.
This class is for practicing real conversation with a real person,
in a safe, relaxed 1-on-1 setting.
We don’t use textbooks.
We talk the way you’d actually talk in daily life or at work.
We talk naturally — and I stay with you in the conversation.
When you pause, I help you continue.
When you’re unsure, I help you respond or move the conversation forward.
Through real interaction, you’ll start to:

Real-Life Conversational Chinese (A2–C2)

This is a discussion-based Chinese session focused on judgment and communication in real business situations. 

It is not a traditional Business Chinese class focused on vocabulary or grammar. 

We work through real-world scenarios — sourcing, selling, collaboration, trust, and risk — and focus on how people think and communicate in practice, rather than on language drills. 

I’ve worked in trade, manufacturing, and wholesale markets for many years, so this class reflects how business communication actually happens in the real world — not textbook or office-style Chinese.

Judgment & Communication in Business Situations (Chinese A2–B1)

This is a discussion-based Chinese session for learners who are interested in workplace and relationship communication topics, rather than language drills or scripts. 

In class, we use third-person situations and examples to look at communication from a structural perspective. 

We focus on questions such as:
• what information is being shared — and what is missing
• how meaning is implied without being stated directly
• how timing, silence, or over-clarity can change outcomes
• how roles, expectations, or dependency affect how messages are received
The goal is to understand what is happening in a situation, before deciding what to say — or whether to say anything at all.

Workplace & Relationship Communication (Chinese A2–B1)

This is a discussion-based English session for learners interested in workplace and relationship communication topics, rather than language drills or scripts.

In class, we use third-person situations and examples to look at communication from a structural perspective. 

We focus on questions such as:
• what information is being shared — and what is missing
• how meaning is implied without being stated directly
• how timing, silence, or over-clarity can change outcomes
• how roles, expectations, or dependency affect how messages are received

The focus is on understanding what is happening in a situation —
sometimes before deciding what to say, and sometimes before deciding not to speak at all.
