I prepare kids for the MIKA test as well.
I offer you a lot of material (PDF files, links, videos) and recommend as well different textbooks for my tailor-made lessons for all levels, from kindergarten to university. Basically I will teach you grammar, conversation, writing and reading, but your lesson will be created according to your needs. Some of you would like to prepare for an exam, others strengthen their conversation skills or improve their grammar. I will give you homework and guide you how to learn German independently at home so that you can improve your language abilities as well outside my class.

Lessons for children are very individual. I got several books (e.g. Hueber) for children and youngsters (A1.1, A1.2, A2.2 for kids). In a playful manner we will learn German with online games, picture stories, videos, worksheets and teaching material plus books specifically designed for children of different age groups (one for children and one for youth). Having myself two daughters whom I taught German (We live in South Korea and India) I know how much effort it takes to teach children. I have taught children in kindergarten and am currently teaching English in a primary school in South Korea. 
I only teach German to children who either know English or Korean. The length of the lesson depends on the language level of the child. A1 (beginners) are taught only 30 minute classes.

I am especially equipped to teach you an Eastern Austrian dialect from the regions Burgenland (northern part) and Wien, which is very similar in parts of Niederösterreich.

In this course you can learn German and Austrian German.
Learning a language for young kids online can be challenging, especially when they are below 5. I was teaching in kindergardens and elementary schools offline and as well online. I have a lot of free material such as videos, picture stories, worksheets, books (recommended by the Goethe institute and other leading German institutions), online games, online quizzes and more to keep the kids focused and learn with fun. I prepare kids as well for the MIKA exam which is especially for kids and which kids need to pass to be admitted in schools.

German for young kids

Pronunciation is not very easy, but essential to be understood. As I have lived and worked in Asia (more than 20 years in South Korea, India, Nepal, Thailand) for many years and as well in several countries in Europe I know the pitfalls of correct pronunciation. I will help you by telling you where to put your tongue and other tricks (such as similar sounds in your language) to get a correct pronunciation. I have learnt English, Russian, Hindi, Latin and Korean and know the sounds in these languages!

I studied pedagogy and educational sciences at the Vienna University, specializing in children, teenagers and adult education and methods and techniques for teaching German as a second language.

The course contained 246 lessons of teaching and 145 contact hours with students. It enables me to teach German professionally  as a foreign language in language institutes and private lessons.

I studied social and cultural anthropology at the Vienna University, specializing in South Asia and East Asia.

I studied Ancient Indian History as preparation for my actual major Cultural Anthropology.

I studied 8 years English, 6 years Latin and 4 years Russian apart from my native language German.

I have been working in different countries: Thailand, India, Nepal, Austria, Germany, South Korea. In institutes, schools and freelance via skype or personal classes.

I have gotten this certificate because I was working as a German teacher in this institute, teaching kids conversation, exam preparation, grammar, writing and reading. I was working as a teacher  for a year in a kindergarden and another year in an elementary school in Korea. On italki I have been teaching in the last 7 years more than 3000 classes for kids (in total 11.700 classes on italki).

I was working as a teacher in this language institue and prepared elementary, middle, high school students and adults for Goethe institute exams, iGCSE German exam, DSD, integration exams for moving to another country, MIKA test, and German international schools. On italki I have been preparing kids and adults since 7 years in more than 4000 classes, in total 11.700 classes on italki).

I was teaching in an elementary school and this gave me the possibility to explore many group games and improve their language skills with games and activities. I teach a lot of kids on italki and this offline experience helped me to create flexible learning plans for them.

I was preparing elementary, middle, high school students and adults for Goethe institute exams, iGCSE German exam, integration exams for moving to another country, MIKA test, and German international schools and was as well teaching conversation, grammar, writing, listening and reading.

I was teaching in the kindergarden children between 3 and 6 years. Interactive games, songs, outdoor games, writing for the elder children, learning words through online and offline games, starting conversation.

In a tribal village of the Lahu tribe near Maesalong right on the border to Myanmar I was teaching English. It was really challenging, but helped me to get experience teaching kids with almost no material apart from a blackboard and white chalk.

In a small village called Nawalpur in Sindhupalchowk District in Bagmati Province of central Nepal I was teaching English in an elementary school. The area was occupied by the Maois guerilla at that time. There was no running water and electricity and during the rainy season there was water in the classroom. The kids were eager to learn and very attentive. In the afternoon there came some students and asked me to help them with their homework. Some of them brought corn and vegetables as payment.

While I was working with an NGO called Magres in India, I was as well teaching English in a tribal village in the forest in the Palani hills, Tamil Nadu in India. It did not only spark my interest in teaching, but showed me a way of getting in touch with other cultures through teaching. You give back to the community, it gives you a place in the community.

Teaching in an elementary school helped me to understand what Korean kids, teachers and parents expect from a teacher. This is important especially when teaching people of different backgrounds, because expectations do not only vary indivdually, but as well from culture to culture. The learning experience of students is important and needs to be addressed and considered.
