In this lesson, we'll have a little chat to get to know each other. We'll discuss your language goals, interests and any specific areas you'd like to focus on. There will also be time for any questions you may have about my way of teaching or any other topic, so come prepared :)

CONVERSATION PRACTICE LESSONS are meant for students at level A2 or higher. 

If you are a beginner or lower intermediate (A2-B1), we will practice easy conversations in Slovene. We will start with basic questions like "What are your hobbies?" or "What is your favourite food?" and practice simple everyday situations like ordering in a restaurant or asking for directions. My goal in this class is to help you overcome the fear of speaking Slovene. I will help you to come out of your comfort zone. Together we will build easy sentences and expand your vocabulary. 

If you are higher intermediate or advanced (B2-C2) I usually prepare conversation topics, pictures or articles for us to talk about, but you can also decide to talk about something else. We can discuss news, books, movies, food or just talk about our day-to-day lives. The important thing here is practice. The more exposure to the language the better! ;)

TEXT CORRECTION LESSONS are lessons where we look through your text and correct the grammar mistakes. If you want, this lesson can also be without zoom. You book the lesson and send me the document to correct. After the lesson is complete, I’ll send you the corrected version with notes on how to improve and other suggestions. If you want, I can also give you writing tasks based on your level, which you can then send back to me for correction.

Conversation practice/ Text correction

General Slovene lessons are meant for beginners or students that need to improve grammar, writing or listening skills.
In this class, we will work towards improving your Slovene. We can work on conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, listening, writing, reading and comprehension. The lessons are personalized to your level and goals. I use workbooks and different online materials. If you wish, we can also focus on one thing in particular (ex. grammar). Homework may be included at the end of the lesson, but is of course optional.

Slovene lessons for groups are meant for couples or friends, who wish to learn Slovene together and are at approximately the same level. The price listed is for 2 students.

This can be a “General Slovene lesson” or a “Conversation practice lesson”, depending on what you wish to work on.
