I will ask you some questions, like your purpose of studying, your goals etc.
If possible,please prepare Genki I or Minna no Nihongo shokyu I before you request.

★Trial Lesson for 30 minutes
In this trial lesson, we will check your Japanese level, ask you about your purpose of learning Japanese, and what you are looking for in a Japanese class.
Then we will practice using a simple textbook.

- Please prepare Minnano Nihongo I or II,  Genki I or II before taking this class.
- There will be no free conversation.
- This class is for beginners.

緊張せずに会話の練習をして自信をもって流暢に話す。
あなたのスピーキングとリスニングの能力を上げることが目的です。会話の流れを重視しますので、あなたの日本語の文法的な間違いを全部修正することはしません。
あなたが興味のある話題でも、最近起こった出来事についてでも構いません。
Yahoo!ニュースやNHK News Web Easy（やさしい日本語で書いたニュース）などからトピックを選んで会話の練習をします。
会話の中で適切な言葉が見つからなくても、心配しないでください。英語で説明してもらえれば、適切な日本語の表現、日本人がよく使う表現、伝わりやすい表現を教えます。
Yahoo!ニュースやNHK News Web Easy（やさしい日本語で書いたニュース）などからトピックを選んでも大丈夫です。

★Conversation Practice
Relaxed speaking practice to boost confidence and fluency.
I will not try to correct all the mistakes you'd make because I emphasize the flow of conversation. 
Any topic is welcome, according to your interests and events you recently experienced. 
You can pick up topics via Yahoo! news or NHK News Web Easy etc.
If you can't find right words during our conversation, no worry!  If you can explain that in English, I'll teach you a better expression in Japanese. 

*Please note that this is for intermediate to advanced level.  Not for beginners.
*The purpose of this class is to improve your Japanese communication skills.  Proofreading is out of service.
*We don’t use any grammar textbooks in this class.
*Business Japanese is not covered.

★会話の練習（Conversation Practice）

★初級日本語（JLPT N5 - N4）
日本語の基礎をしっかり身につけるクラスです。

ひらがな・カタカナの確認から、
基本文法、語彙、日常会話まで、段階的に学習します。

テキストは
「みんなの日本語（初級I・II）」または
「げんき（I・II）」を使用し、
あなたのレベルに合わせて進めます。

✔ 文法を“形”で覚えるだけでなく、
✔ 使える形で理解することを重視します。

必要に応じてオリジナルスライドも使用します。

Build a solid foundation in Japanese from the very beginning.

This course covers:

- Hiragana & Katakana review
- Basic grammar
- Essential vocabulary
- Everyday conversation practice

We use:

Lessons are structured and step-by-step, so you can progress steadily with confidence.

I focus not only on memorizing patterns,
but on helping you understand how basic Japanese sentences work.

Original slides are also used when necessary.

JLPT N2・N1の読解は、

読解は「センス」ではなく「構造理解」です。

日本人に伝わる正しい日本語、適切な表現を学んでいきましょう。
日本で就職活動をしている人にもお勧めします。履歴書や職務経歴書の日本語が正しいかどうかをチェックし、修正を行っていきます。
※添削は授業中に行います。解説も含め修正を行います。事前に添削用の文章を用意してください。

★Japanese proofreading
In this class, I'll correct your Japanese sentences.
In case you'd like to write diary or poems(lyrics) in Japanese, but you're not confident enough... don't worry!  You can learn correct Japanese with proper expressions.
Also, I recommend this class for students who are looking for a job in Japan.
I can correct your resume and carrier sheet as well.
*Please note that correction will be done during the lesson. Explanation is also included.  Please prepare the sentences before the class.

This course prepares you for N2 level.

At N3 stage, learners begin to face:

- Identifying relationships between ideas
- Improving structured reading

We may also use real-world materials such as news articles.

プレゼンテーションの練習（Japanese Presentation Practice｜Academic & Professional）

I've started teaching Japanese because my ex-husband was a foreigner.  He came from Tunisia and his Japanese level was absolutely zero.  But I taught him Japanese from writing hiragana and katakana.  Now he's working for a company in Kobe.

I used to teach Japanese on italki around 2017.  I was just a community tutor, but most of my students required me at higher level of Japanese grammar or vocabulary, not only a free-conversation.  So I decided to get a certificate of teaching Japanese.

This certificate proves that I completed the Japanese Language Teacher Training Program at Otemae University in 2021.
It is an official qualification recognized in Japan for teaching Japanese as a foreign language, including JLPT and other proficiency test preparation.
