Depending of the student's level of learning, I will try to show how would my lesson look like If that student would choose me as his teacher. I will show the type of material that I will be using so the student would get the picture, not only about the material itself, but also about the methods of learninig that I intend to use.

The student and I will have a conversation in which I will pay attention on the grammatical, lexical, and pragmatical knowledge of the language. During the conversation and especially after the conversation, I will inform the student about his mistakes, my suggestions, etc.

Conversational Serbian

I made a lot of original materials to study Serbian from the beginning, meaning learning Serbian Latin and Cyrillic, pronunciation with paying attention to stress and intonation than to the pronouns, present tense, gender, plural, Accusative and Locative, and other grammatical units always combined with basic vocabulary (greetings, meeting new people, house, food, space and time, traveling, etc).

Serbian language

I had this training before starting to work in Azbukum. Thanks to it, I had the opportunity to have lectures from very experienced teachers. I had to do all kinds of exercises that would show that I understood the principles of teaching Serbian as a foreign language. I also made my own tasks and materials to get this certificate. I apply what I have learned in my lessons.

I occasionally have lessons with students from U.S. Air Force through LEAP eMentor Program. They aim to study the language and learn a lot about the culture and the lifestyle of Serbian people.

I prepare teaching materials for two students of Serbian language (age 12).

I teach Serbian to Russian children who are bilingual. They speak Russian and Serbian and I try to make their Serbian better.

I taught English to children from age 4 to 14. This work helped me to learn how to work with kids and how to teach a foreign language.

I recently started working in Azbukum, one of the oldest school in Serbia for teaching Serbian as a foreign language. I teach people that have different level of knowledge (from complete beginners to advanced students).
