수업 설명
We are told that empathy is always a virtue, that caring more is always better, and that the measure of a good person is how much they feel for others.
But is it that simple? This lesson asks whether empathy can be taken too far: whether helping strangers can come at the expense of your own family or country, whether some generosity is really about the giver's guilt rather than the recipient's need, and whether a society that tries to care for everyone ends up unable to care for anyone properly.
