今日が祝日になったのは、1967年。
はじめの天皇が即位した日、天皇になった日のことですね。

それが、現在の2/11とされています。

それで、今は2/11が建国記念日になっている、ということですね。

神社などでは行事があるみたいですが、ぼくは参加したことはありません。ほとんどの人にとっては、普通の祝日だと思います。
