This is a casual podcast about the English language.  I will talk about conversations I had during the day and question that were asked.  Group class plans will also be discussed.

Reflections

Following this year’s Super Bowl hosted by the city of New Orleans, my mom and I talk about our memories of traveling there, touching on a number of aspects of the city’s identity, especially food and music. We also discuss how the city has recovered from multiple natural disasters over the past few decades.

日本語だんだんポッドキャストのゆかりです。

今日は私の"なまり"についての話です。

日本語には、地域によって色々な、なまりがあります。

英語にもありますね。

同じ英語でも、少しずつちがいます。

アメリカの英語とイギリスの英語は少しちがいます。
カナダ、オーストラリア、シンガポール、の英語もそれぞれちがいます。

私は大阪の出身です。

生まれてから、25歳まで、大阪に住んでいました。

なので、関西のなまりがあります。

関西弁を話します。

ちなみに、関西とは、大阪府、京都府、滋賀県、奈良県、和歌山県のことです。

まとめて関西と呼ばれています。

私は日本語の先生です。

いまはできるだけ、関西弁にならないようにしています。
関西弁で話すと、アクセントが全然ちがいます。

例えば、ありがとうございます。

これを、私のなまりで話すと、

ありがとうございます、です。

ほかにも、私の好きな食べ物はお寿司です。

これを、私のなまりで話すと、

私の好きな食べ物はお寿司です。

となります。

どうでしょうか？

言葉は同じです。

全然違うように聞こえますか？

私はこのような、なまりが好きです。

人それぞれ、ちがったような話し方があると思います。楽しいですね。
