Ich gehe hungrig in die Küche, nehme eine Salatschüssel und eine Reibe aus dem Schrank und beginne eine Möhre und eine Rote Beete zu reiben. Den Salat schmecke ich mit Zitronensaft und Salz ab – oh ja, genau so soll er sein!
Dann stelle die Suppe von gestern auf den Herd. Mit einer Kelle rühre ich hin und wieder in der Suppe, damit sie gleichmäßig warm wird. Während sie langsam heiß wird, nehme ich einen tiefen Teller aus dem Schrank und Besteck aus der Schublade. Ich mag es, wenn alles seinen Platz hat und ich nichts suchen muss!
Die Suppe beginnt zu kochen. Ich rieche den leckeren Duft und freue mich schon aufs Essen. Ich rühre die Suppe noch mal um und gieße sie dann vorsichtig Kelle für Kelle in den Teller. Die heiße Suppe dampft.
Nun schneide ich Brot in Scheiben. Ich lege die Brotscheiben auf einen kleinen Teller neben meinem Suppenteller. Mit dem Messer schmiere ich ein bisschen Butter auf eine Brotscheibe und streue ein bisschen Salz darauf.
Ich setze mich an den Tisch und nehme den Löffel in die Hand. Zuerst probiere ich die Suppe. Sie ist genau richtig: nicht zu heiß und nicht zu kalt. Dann tunke ich das Butterbrot in die Suppe und beiße hinein. Es schmeckt wunderbar zusammen mit der Suppe und dem Salat. 
In Ruhe esse und genieße ich die Mahlzeit. Danach fühle ich mich satt und zufrieden. Ich räume den Tisch ab und spüle das Geschirr. Jetzt kann ich mich entspannen und den restlichen Tag genießen.

Es una bebida alcohólica a base de frutas y piloncillo (es un dulce hecho a base de caña de azúcar). La bebida no tiene tanto contenido alcohólico y se toma en todo México hace años. En los comienzos de esta bebida se la tomaba con maíz, pero ahora se la estila tomar con frutas como piña, manzana y naranja.

El término Tepache en México, es utilizado para nombrar una bebida obtenida por la fermentación de los azúcares de alguna fruta. La palabra tepache procede del náhuatl “tepiatl”, que significa bebida de maíz.

La primera versión del tepache se hizo con maíz. Era una bebida refrescante fermentada a la que poco a poco se le fue incorporando fruta para endulzarla. Se cree que en un principio se usaban pocos trozos de fruta pues la piña, proveniente de América del Sur, era difícil de conseguir todo el año.

Con la apertura de las vías comerciales y el dominio de culturas prominentes, el comercio y el tributo con frutas, entre ellas la piña, permitió realizar la bebida completamente a base de la fruta. Lo que en un principio fue comercio y tributo, pronto se conviritión en cultivo doméstico.

Entre las otras bebidas fermentadas, el tepache destaca precisamente por su componente base, y es que la piña por su alto contenido de azúcares y agua, es el ejemplo perfecto de fermentación rápida que da como resultado una bebida refrescante, dulce y muy sabrosa, además de ser una fuente importante de energía.

El tepache se toma muy frío, se recomienda escarchar el vaso con sal y chile piquín. Se puede acompañar en diferentes platos.
