La leyenda de La Llorona tiene diversos elementos simbólicos: la mujer, la maternidad atormentada, la noche, el agua, lo blanco, la voz y el silencio, la muerte de los hijos, la Plaza y la luna, entre otros.

1) сього́дні – today (А сьогодні буде подкаст?);
2) звича́йно – sure;
3) щось ціка́ве – something interesting;

5) я́сно – it’s clear;

7) напри́клад – for example (Наприклад, я – американець. Я розмовляю англійською. Значить, мова – англійська);

14) тро́хи неочі́кувано – a nit unexpected;

16) в ме́не урок ско́ро  – I have a lesson soon;

18) пра́вда – true;
19) інфа́ = інформа́ція – information (slang)
20) зві́дки ти зна́єш сло́во «…»? – how do you know the word ‘”…”? (literally: from where…  звідки ти? = where are you from?)

22) мені́ час – I have to go now!
