Finally, when you apply for jobs through LinkedIn, the person viewing your application will see a breakdown of how your profile aligns with the job description, including your skills. While you have limited space on a resume to list your skills, you can incorporate keywords throughout your profile as well as in your Skills & Endorsements profile section. Plus, when you apply for jobs with a Premium LinkedIn account, you can see how you compare to other candidates and how many people have applied. In some cases, applying won’t be worth your time.

This is an important grammar topic at the intermediate level. This short episode introduces the idea of ergative verbs. 

Ergative verbs are a set of verbs which have a third option besides being active or passive: ergative. This means they are active in form, with the receiver of the verb's action as the subject. The meaning is the same as the passive. 

The examples I use in the episode: 
The store opens at 10. 
The movie will star at 8pm. 
The music stopped. 
The weather changed.
The chicken is cooking. 
The car is reversing. 
The plants grew. 
The window broke.

ESTE CUENTO NOS HABLA DE UN TREN PEQUEÑO.


Antes de comenzar la lectura.


1. ¿Que medios de transporte puedes usar para ir a otros lugares en tu ciudad?

2. ¿Cual es tu medio de transporte favorito?


Presta atención a la lectura de tu profesor.


Había un tren pequeño.

Tenía una máquina amarilla que parecía un sol.

Detrás sólo llevaba tres vagones de color rojo, como las
flores de las amapolas.

En la máquina, el conductor tocaba una campana muy
brillante. La campana sonaba muy fuerte haciendo TILÍN,
TILÍN.

El trenecito corría muy poco, porque le gustaba ir
viendo el paisaje que había junto a las vías.

El conductor se asomaba a la ventana de la máquina
amarilla.

El conductor se pasaba el día saludando a las casas y
a las granjas por las que pasaba, y también saludaba a las
vacas y a los corderos.

Era un tren pequeño pero muy simpático.
