Today I am going to introduce Japanese idiomatic expressions using "口（くち/mouth）”.
Do you know the meaning of "口（くち）をきく”？　This is a question of JLPT N2.
There are a lot of words using "口（くち/ mouth）”　I think they are interesting.
I hope you enjoy Japanese words! Thank you!

JLPTの言語知識を問う問題に、「言葉の使い方として最もよいものを一つ選びなさい」というのがあります。
先日、生徒さんとN２の問題をしていたときに、
「口をきく」ということばがでてきました。
彼が選んだのは　「彼は味のことについては口をきいている」でした。
じつは、これはまちがいです。この文は「口うるさい」が合っていますね。　
正解の文は「主人と初めて口をきいたのは電車の中だった。」です。つまり、この「口をきく」は、「話をする」という意味で使われています。
「口」がつくことばは、ほかにもたくさんあります。
口がうまい　彼は口がうまいので、ついのせられてしまった。
口が重い　　父はその話になると口が重くなる。
口が堅い　　彼女は口が堅いので信用できる。
口が軽い　　彼は口が軽いから、大事なことは言わないほうがいいよ。
口が滑る　　うっかり口が滑って、彼女を怒らせてしまった。
口が悪い　　彼は口が悪いが、本当はいい人ですよ。
口げんかする　気が付いたらいつも妻と口げんかしている。
口コミ　　　　どのレストランにするかは、口コミを見てから決めることにしている。
口に合う　　　初めて食べたけど、このスープは口に合います。
口にする　　　体重チェックがあるので、朝から何も口にしていない。
口を出す　　　よその家のことに口を出すのはよくない。
口ぐせ　　　　　彼は一日に何度も「よし！」と言っている。きっと口ぐせなんだろう。
「口」が付く表現だけでなく、「足」「手」「鼻」など体の一部を使った表現はたくさんあります。　意味を知ると結構　おもしろいと思うので、興味がある人は　ぜひ　調べてみてくださいね。
