「ヲタク」はもう、「スシ」「カワイイ」「カラオケ｝と同じくらい、有名な「日本語」になっていますね。この「ヲタク」文化の中に「鉄道ヲタク」というのがあるのを、ごぞんじですか。電車が大好きな人たちのことで、この中にもいろいろな種類があります。たとえば、写真を撮るのが好きな人は「撮（と）り鉄」。駅のホームの一番はしっこで、よく写真を撮ってるのを見かけます。（落ちたら、あぶない、あぶない！）他にも「乗り鉄」というのがあって、これは電車に乗るのが楽しくてたまらない人たちのことです。でもね、線路がいつまでもあると思ったら、大まちがい！先週、JRのフリーパスを使って旅行したらね、前より線路が短くなってたよ。そんな私の一日電車旅行の話です。あ、私は「乗り鉄」ではありませんよー。
