V and W, B and P, F, and Z vs S | Real American English #106
설명
You tell your neighbor her garden looks "wery well," or you ask for the "best" when you mean a "vest." You say "his" so it sounds like "hiss," or ask for "peace" when you want "peas." Many languages have only one sound where English has two, so learners use the same sound for V and W, or B and V, or P and B, or S and Z. This episode works through the pairs one at a time, with words from around the house.
In this episode:
• V AND W: very well
• B AND V: best and vest
• P and b, f and p
• Z and s, and endings
• Listening lab: grocery list
• Practice
• Self-check questions with answers
