日本には６月ごろに、「梅雨（つゆ）」という雨が多い季節があります。毎日雨が降ると、外に出るのが嫌になるかもしれません。でも、雨の日もそんなに悪くないですよ。家で雨の音を聞きながら本を読むと、とてもリラックスできます。
あなたは、雨の日になにをするのが好きですか？

日本（にほん）には６月（ろくがつ）ごろに、「梅雨（つゆ）」という雨（あめ）が多（おお）い季節（きせつ）があります。毎日（まいにち）雨（あめ）が降（ふ）ると、外（そと）に出（で）るのが嫌（いや）になるかもしれません。でも、雨（あめ）の日（ひ）もそんなに悪（わる）くないですよ。家（いえ）で雨（あめ）の音（おと）を聞（き）きながら本（ほん）を読（よ）むと、とてもリラックスできます。

In Japan, around June, there is a rainy season called "Tsuyu." When it rains every day, you might get sick of going out. However, rainy days aren't all that bad. I can relax by reading a book at home while listening to the sound of the rain. What do you like to do on rainy days?

嫌（いや）になる　ー　to get sick

【Grammar Notes】

🔶noun/short form + ～かもしれない  may/might ~
Example:

He might be a student.

🔶verb stem + ～ながら　while doing~
Example:
雨（あめ）の音を聞きながら本（ほん）を読（よ）みます。
I read a book while listening to the sound of the rain.
歩（ある）きながら食（た）べないでください。
Please don't eat while walking.

🔶short form + ～と　whenever / if~ 
Example: 
本（ほん）を読（よ）むと、リラックスできます。
Whenever I read a book, I can relax.
たくさん食（た）べると、眠（ねむ）くなります。
Whenever I eat a lot, I get sleepy.
