What's the most efficient way to memorize material? (Part 1)

对牛弹琴[duì niú tán qín]：to;towards/cattle;ox/play/lute
 The idiom means taking to someone and expecting them to care or do something instead the other person just stands there and is not responding to you.
公明仪 gōng míng yí：a person‘s name in Ancient 
出游 chū yóu：Travel; go on a tour
清澈 qīng chè：Limpid; clear
景色 jǐng sè：scenery; view; scene
兴致大发 xìng zhì dà fā：interest ; mood
尽管 jǐn guǎn：although;while;when
动人 dòng rén ：moving；touching

孔融小时候聪明好学，才思敏捷，巧言妙答，大家都夸他是奇童。4岁时，他已能背诵许多诗赋，并且懂得礼节，父母亲非常喜爱他。
一日，父亲买了一些梨子，特地拣了一个最大的梨子给孔融，孔融摇摇头，却另拣了一个最小的梨子说：“我年纪最小，应该吃小的梨，你那个梨就给哥哥吧。”父亲听后十分惊喜,又问:“那弟弟也比你小啊?"孔融说"弟弟比我小,我也应该让给他.”孔融让梨的故事，很快传遍了曲阜，并且一直流传下来，成了许多父母教育子女的好例子。
