After all, even if you’re in a less-than-perfect position, you can apply for a more suitable job internally as soon as it opens. By then, you will have had the chance to show your quality of work, work ethic, and commitment to the company, making you an ideal candidate.

While interviewing for an internal position is a wonderful opportunity, it includes unique challenges. One of the biggest mistakes people make when interviewing internally is failing to prepare adequately. They may believe the interview is simply a formality, and they have the job in the bag. Their interviewer may be familiar with their work, so they may not arrive prepared to talk about the specifics of their contributions. And finally, they may have a friendly relationship with the interviewer and treat the interview too casually.

このPodcastは、日本語を勉強しているみなさんに向けたPodcastです。

あらためまして、あけましておめでとうございます！
今年もよろしくお願いします！

日本では、今年がんばることを年のはじめに決めることが多いです。
一年の計は元旦にあり
ということわざもあります。
今年1年がうまくいくかは、はじめのプランが大切だということですね。

ということで、みなさんはどんなことをがんばりたいと思いますか？日本語を勉強するのはもちろん、かもしれませんが、何をがんばりますか？例えばオンラインレッスンをたくさんする、とか、Podcastをたくさん聞く、とか、日本の本をたくさん読む、とかいろいろありますね。

僕は、英語の勉強の為に、英語の本を何か読もうかなと考えています。今は日本のニュースを英語で読む練習をしています。今までは聴くだけで、全然読んでいませんでした。

でも、最近ニュースを英語で読みはじめてから、vocabularyが増えたり、文法がわかるようになったり、読む時にどこで切ると読みやすいか、というのもわかるようになってきました。もちろん、まだまだ練習は必要ですけどね。

ですので、今年はステップアップして、英語の本を読もうかなと考えています。英語を勉強するためのオススメの本かあれば教えてください！

今年の目標を日本語で話したい！という方は、ぜひオンラインレッスンでお話しましょう！
新しい年になると、なぜか気持ちがリフレッシュしたかんじになって、新しいことをがんばろう！という気持ちになりますよね。
