Have you ever thought about what the difference between the two is? A reader is someone who learns easily from reading from things like articles, textbooks, or even powerpoint slides. A listener learns from hearing things like lectures  or presentations.

Are you a reader or a listener?

春になるとよくパートナーとけんかします。その原因は自転車です。
パートナーはサイクリングが好きで、毎年春になるとサイクリングを始めます。仕事のあとや週末など時間があればサイクリングしています。
一方、私はサイクリングがあまり好きではありません。その理由は二つあります。一つは私に合うサイズの自転車がないから。もう一つはヨーロッパでは車道を走らなければいけないからです。

私達の大家さんは自転車を数台持っていて「勝手に使っていいよ」と言ってくれています。でも、どれも私にとっては大きいのです。私は身長が152cmで、自転車に乗るときはサドルに座ってつま先が少し着くぐらいのサイズが好きです。でも大家さんが持っている自転車は自転車を片側に傾けないと足が着きません。だから私はその自転車に乗りたくありません。でも、毎年春になるとパートナーがサイクリングに行こうと誘ってきます。でも、私は自分に合わないサイズの自転車でサイクリングに行きたくありません。それで毎年けんかになっていました。

でも、私は今年ある決心をしました。自分に合った自転車を買うことにしたのです。ドイツではサイクリングがとても人気で、私の家の周りにはサイクリングができる場所がたくさんあります。せっかくドイツにいるのだからサイクリングを始めてみようと思いました。

さっそく土曜日に自転車を見に行きました。私の身長と私の好みを考えると子供用の自転車になります。私たちが行った自転車屋さんには子供用の自転車でも、子供っぽくない、かっこいいデザインのものがありました。私はその中から自分の予算に合っていて、デザインがかっこいい自転車をいくつか選び、試乗しました。そしてその中から気に入った二つの自転車を選び、店員さんを探しました。店員さんの意見を聞いてから、どちらにするか決めたかったからです。でも、あいにくその日は混んでいて、なかなか店員さんを捕まえられませんでした。だから、家に帰りオンラインで注文することにしました。結局お店で自転車を買えませんでしたが、自分に合う自転車のサイズがわかったので、自転車屋さんに見に行ってよかったです。
