Continuamos con el tema de los gauchos. En este episodio de Porteña les contaré sobre este poema, su trasfondo sociopolítico y leeré algunos de sus famosos versos.

L’hippopotame qui vole
Rasto, l'hippopotame, a une idée fixe depuis une semaine : il veut apprendre à voler. Il observe bien les oiseaux et il bat des pattes tant qu’il peut mais, évidemment, il ne décolle pas d’un centimètre. Il est tellement acharné qu’il en oublie de manger et de dormir. Ses parents sont très inquiets.
Hier, il s’est jeté du haut d’un rocher de douze mètres et il a atterri sur le ventre.
- Il va finir par se tuer ! gémit maman hippopotame.
Heureusement, le lièvre malin a eu une idée de génie : il a inscrit Rasto à une école de parapente. Enfin, l'hippopotame peut voler. Quelle joie !
