커뮤니티 튜터Please help check the paragraph. I know I am misusing the passive voice here, but it seems to me that if I phrase sentences in the active voice, the emphasis won't be on the right things.
Portmone is a Ukrainian interbank payment system, one of the largest players in the market, founded by Igor Gorin in 2002. In 2013, the company was acquired by Dragon Capital investment company. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed at that time. The sources in the market said that the asset was most likely acquired for further resale. And this happened in 2021.

Are you referring to the favourite tip of many English teachers and lecturers to privilege the active voice?
If so, just a heads up that it's nonsense!

This sentence seems to be disconnected with the rest. If you are talking about the resale, you could say "... acquired for further resale, which occurred in 202."
