The shoes I had been looking forward to finally arrived today. The design was exactly as shown in the photo and looked really cute. I can’t wait to wear them and go out. I’m glad I bought it.

Change the last word to "them" as shoes are plural.
Adding "they" before looked is optional but it adds clarity by making the subject of that clause clearer. (It's the shoes rather than the style.)
