I’m from Japan, and an interesting cultural difference is to take a bath . When I had stayed at my host family’s home, I took a shower every night and then I took it for granted that all people take a bath, however it was wrong. Only Japan has the custom. So, I was surprised and interested in the culture.

So, I was surprised and interested in the culture. This sentence is very good, just one thing I have noticed is that you put spaces in between your punctuation. Full stops and commas are supposed to be joined to the word, but has space in between the next word, for example: So, I was surprised and interested in the culture. I attached the comma on the word ‘So’ and left a space between the comma and the word ‘I’ In the 1st sentence, because you are talking about something that is interesting in a culture, you don’t say ‘an interesting culture’ you would say ‘an interesting cultural difference’ Besides that though, which country did you go to? Because in Australia there are still baths, unless your house is too small or it wasn’t included in the house design. I have a bath at home, there’s nothing better than relaxing in bath tub full of warm water after a long day of studying. I hope this helped with your English studies! (I apologise that I don’t know enough Japanese to fully explain it to you in detail)
