My hometown is called Madiun in Indonesia. I was born and raised there and I can say it is definitely my favorite place. It is located in between of 2 province, East Java and West Java. I cannot tell that it is a very big city. The town is both traditional and modern. I call it traditional because there still are many festivals celebrated by the locals, yet modern, as it is starting to be developed just like other province having much more sophisticated infrastructure.

Hi Diana, your English is very advanced! Following are my notes for things I heard for your prononciation: "Raised" is pronounced like "rayzd" even though it likes like it could be pronounced "ryzed". Also, for American English, we would pronounce the word "infrastructure" as "infrastrukchur". And "favorite" is pronounced "fayevorit". I hope I haven't confused you but it's hard to write out the dictations sometimes. This was great though. Some small corrections on the passage are above.
