Debt is a noun; something that you owe
"She has a lot of debt."
Indebted is an adjective
There are two meanings. It can mean owing money.
"The indebted government is facing economic collapse."
However, the more common meaning is owing gratitude or recognition to another.
"She was indebted to the doctor for saving her life."
Hope this helps 😊

Debt (noun): a sum of money that is owed or due.
Indebted (adjective): owing someone something (usually money). (Often we use indebted to someone)
Example:
I have a debt of $1000.
I need to pay my debt. (It can take a plural form too: I have 3 debts to pay off)
After my parents paid for my university tuition I was indebted to them.
People who are indebted may find it difficult to get approval for a credit card (I could also say: People with debts may find it difficult to get approval for a credit card)
