Some experts believe that when a country is already rich, any additional increase in economic wealth does not make its citizens any more satisfied. To what extent do you agree or disagree? It is guessed that developed countries cannot improve the satisfaction level of citizens by increasing their economic development. In my point of view this opinion could be wrong because economic improvement can raise the life expectancy and at the same time could provide more time for pleasure to do wherever they want. Firstly, the ability to life longer could be desirable result of the supplemented increase in economic wealth because most people would like to celebrate century anniversary in their life. Consequently, the level of satisfaction will be improved as well. For instance, appliances help many woman to less fatigue compared with the previous generation which can lead to longest life and happiness. Secondly, the constant upgrade in developed economics can allow more freedom for society because they can use their time more efficiently. As a result, the quality of life can be improved, they can have a choice to be involved in the interesting activities more frequently. For example, the metro development offers the fasters way to transport from one location to another. This type of transportation can bring more positive emotions instead of the buses due to the traffic jam. To sum up, the developed countries can save time and increase the life expectancy if they continued their economic development. These reasons why I disagree that the additional economic wealth could not bring the extra satisfaction for people who live there.
